We’re currently looking for a passionate, experienced Procurement & Contracts Coordinator to join our team.
About the Role:
In this permanent position, you’ll lead and support procurement and contract management activities across Our Mill, working closely with inventory, purchasing and operational teams. You will be instrumental in ensuring value for money, managing supplier relationships, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and driving improvements in procurement processes—all while upholding the highest standards of compliance, transparency, and safety. You will also lead and or support the negotiation or commercial and purchasing contracts across Our Mill to ensure business needs and cost realisations are met.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts to deliver commercial value and ensure compliance
- Monitor supplier performance and build strategic supplier relationships
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across procurement operations
- Conduct market research and engage with new and existing suppliers
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and process improvements
- Analyse procurement spending and contribute to budgeting and forecasting
- Provide clear, concise advice on procurement strategy and risk mitigation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contracts register
- Lead tender evaluations and negotiate contracts that support Mill objectives

We’re looking for a commercial-minded, detail-oriented professional with a passion for continuous improvement and strong relationship-building skills. You'll be someone who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment and can influence across all levels of the organisation.
What you need to succeed:
- Experience in procurement and contract management, preferably in a heavy industry setting
- Strong understanding of commercial law, compliance, and risk management
- Analytical ability to assess supplier performance, cost trends, and procurement data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to negotiate and implement contracts that drive value
